District 11-B2 Information Technology (IT)
     The Purpose of 11-B2’s Information Technology (IT) Committee is:
To create and foster an environment that allows clubs and their members to develop the skills necessary to access the resources available via the internet, and beyond.
What is Information Technology (IT)?
I.T. Definition: It includes all matters concerned with the furtherance of computer science and technology and with the design, development, installation, and implementation of information systems and applications.
Information Technology (IT) Goal
   To actively provide assistance to Lions who are interested in using the internet as a communication tool via email usage and website communications as a means of keeping records, imparting news releases, and/or creating a Club Website that can be linked with our District Site. We agree to responsibly provide:
Training - Information Sharing - Research tools
To keep information and links on District Website up to date. 
To keep current relavent information available on our website.
    If you click on District Clubs, you will be able to link to every club that currently has their free (Lion Wap) website up and running. Need Help? Contact any (IT) member.

Web Masters Note!
Greetings,
During the next couple of weeks you will be seeing
interesting change to the district web site I will have new calendar on-line and ready for each club in the district to be able to place their events and activities online.  The Link www.milions11b2.org/calendar will be direct access to the calendar and I will have place where you can enter the information for the or activity and then send it directly to me.  Currently you can see the district calendar by logging to the district web site at www.milions11b2.
After the site has completely loaded using the menu on the left side of the screen, click on the "District link. In the main window on the left hand side is a links that will give you various information the district. 
If you click the calendar Link you will see the generic calendar we have now. Both ways of getting to our calendar will be available after the the new calendar online. If you are having trouble finding anything our district web site , you may use the site map link the menu on the left side of your screen.
